The material inventory system is able to maintain historical information for each material receipt.
The materials inventory system is track material identity, quality status, and amounts used at all times.
The material inventory system uses “positive release” procedures to assign quality status to starting
materials used in customization operations.
Lot codes of all incoming products are recorded on receipt and traced through the storage and
customization processes.
FIFO is the recommendation to manage the age of materials.
All incoming deliveries are checked for damage or contamination..
An identity check is performed on all incoming materials.
Barcode labels are verified and checked with a barcode scanner. All printed materials are compared
to an approved final artwork standard.
